Product Introduction

Taq Antibody is a monoclonal antibody against Taq DNA polymerase used in Hot Start PCR that binds to Taq to inhibit DNA polymerase activity and effectively inhibit nonspecific annealing of primers and nonspecific amplification induced by primer dimers. Anti-Taq antibodies denaturate during the initial DNA denaturation step of the PCR reaction, so no special anti-Taq antibody inactivation treatment is required for the use of this product. The Taq enzyme can be used under conventional PCR conditions.
